Hourglass Management Corporation (HMC) is the parent company of a portfolio of companies, including Flexco Fleet Services, ZOOMWAREHOUSE and The Hourglass Foundation.

Our portfolio companies operate in many corners of the automotive industry including, fleet remarketing and online vehicle auctions. While the operations of these companies are independent, HMC helps to focus their efforts through shared management, human resource processes, marketing support, and information technology solutions.

With over 34 years of experience, Flexco Fleet Services is a family owned and operated fleet remarketing services company. We work with small fleets to Fortune 500 companies. ZOOMWAREHOUSE is a public online auction where employees from a network of companies can search and bid on late model fleet vehicles and other cars, trucks and hybrids.

The Hourglass Foundation is a charitable 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and the philanthropic arm of Flexco Fleet Services. The Hourglass Foundation’s mission is to empower first-generation, low income, and diversely underrepresented students through scholarship opportunities that support educational pursuits in auto tech and other blue collar skilled trades programs, including HVAC, construction, electrical, plumbing and similar. As part of their overall vision, the Foundation also aims to be part of a larger solution to help reduce the overall auto tech and skilled trades workforce shortage.

Co-founded by Ron Shoemaker, the Founder of Flexco Fleet Services, and Chad Shoemaker, Flexco’s current Chief Executive Officer, The Hourglass Foundation was established to give back to a fleet industry that had been so generous to Flexco for over two decades.
